Our History

In 2004 Hebron native Mark Draeb and his wife Laurie purchased 320 acres of crop and pasture land just a mile north of town with dreams to one day build a horse property and a place where they could have a fruit tree orchard and seasonal garden for fresh vegetables.

Utilities were trenched in and Mark purchased a Bobcat S250 which made placing posts much easier to build corrals, loafing sheds and out buildings for their horses. After many months of research and planning, Mark broke ground on the main Barn for Windy Ridge Stables.
